MY EXPERIENCE

With over 8 years of experience in motion design and art direction, I’ve mastered the art of visual storytelling. After starting in commercial animation in 2017, I moved into the world of broadcast news. My most defining work has been as sole designer for Channel 13’s "HaMakor." Tasked with visualizing complex investigative journalism, I developed a passion for creating unique visual worlds that help people understand and connect with important, deep-dive content.

MY WORK PROCESS

My process is built on curiosity and craft. I manage the full production pipeline, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to final render. I don't stick to just one look; instead, I utilize various techniques to ensure each project gets a fresh, custom-made feel. For me, the goal is always to find that perfect balance where a complex subject becomes visually stunning and easy to follow.

ABOUT ME

Living in Holon, Israel, with my wife, Daniella and my baby boy, Geffen.

I grew up on animated shows like Batman: The Animated Series, Spider-Man and Pokémon, which fueled my passion for creating unique worlds. These shows, along with my older brother who first introduced me to comics, inspired me to start drawing. Later, I discovered my love for rock music and video games, which also took me to different worlds and filled me with inspiration.

At a young age, I started teaching myself Photoshop, trying to design websites. I loved the idea of bringing my imagination to life and the possibility of getting paid for it. In high school, I majored in film, which introduced me to the wonders of filmmaking and creativity.

MY JOURNEY TO MOTION DESIGN

When it came time to choose a career, I knew I wanted to do something creative, but it was hard to decide with so many interests. I ultimately chose to study Visual Communication Design at the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT), knowing I could explore a variety of topics like graphic design, animation, comics, and UI/UX design. I specialized in Motion Design because I loved creating worlds and then bringing them to life through animation. I found that this field was the perfect way to combine all my passions and channel them into creations that could convey deep messages and experiences in a way few other mediums can.
