Hamakor - Shabak’s Coordinators

“Hamakor” is an investigative and documentary TV show at the Israeli channel 13.

As the single motion designer, I’m in charge of the show’s visual language, packaging the information to be more engaging and tell stories with design and animation tools.

In this two parts article, the journalist Haim Rivlin went after a mysterious cult who involved in kidnap ultraorthodox children, and the way that the ultraorthodox community and the Israeli police were treated by those stories.

I used two main visuals for the viewers to remember from this story, the kids with cover faces and the chart with 208 children who tell the same stories.

With those visuals I added the ink effect on the top pictures of Jerusalem to show how the stories expanded through the neighborhoods.

To the article: Part 1, Part 2
